The Playground by Tiger Woods opens at Jack’s Bay

The Playground – a 10-hole par-three golf course created by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design – has opened at the new Jack’s Bay private club and community on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas.

The short layout sits atop a dramatic bluff, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Holes range from 55 to 170 yards and the course can be played in a variety of configurations.

“It is great to be part of this spectacular project in paradise,” said Woods. “The natural terrain and coastline are incredibly beautiful and call for an equally spectacular golf experience. The golf course complements the true spirit of the Jack’s Bay development because it’s designed for golfers to have fun, foster friendships, and create memories within an unforgettable setting.”

Holes six- to -ten all play alongside the Atlantic Ocean (the club has two-and-a-half miles of ocean frontage), and there is a ‘Blue Bar’ located next to the fourth green.

“Bringing Tiger to this residential resort opportunity in the Bahamas is nothing short of remarkable,” said Sir Franklyn Wilson, the chair of Jack’s Bay Company. “Uniting the rich Bahamian cultural heritage and Eleuthera’s unmatched beauty, with the skill and attention to detail brought to the table by Tiger Woods and TGR Design, makes this an exceptional opportunity.”

In addition to The Playground, TGR Design has been engaged to create an 18-hole golf course, which is currently at the design stage.
