Redesigned and renovated course reopens at The Clubs at Houston Oaks
The golf course at The Clubs at Houston Oaks has reopened following a redesign and renovation project.
Located to the northwest of the city of Houston in the US state of Texas, the course has been reworked by golf course architect Chet Williams.
A number of new features have been introduced to the course. These include a spilt fairway on the eleventh hole, while Williams has also created a new fifth hole which now features an island green.
As well as the full eighteen, players have the option of playing the course in loops of two, four and six. A nine-hole chipping area and a nine-hole family short course have also been put in place.
As well as changes to the course’s layout, Williams has reworked the bunkering on many holes, while Celebration bermudagrass has also been introduced.
