Lakes course at Phoenix Gold reopens following renovation work
The Lakes course at Phoenix Gold Golf and Country Club has reopened for play following a renovation project.
An official reopening ceremony took place on 28 December at the club in Pattaya, Thailand.
The project has seen a series of changes made to the course’s greens, tee boxes and water hazards. Some of the course’s nine holes were also rerouted.
The work has been led by Thai golf course architect Pirapon Namatra, whose GolfEast Design firm have been actively working to improve the club’s golf facilities over the past three years.
Phoenix Gold is home to three nine-hole courses – namely the Lakes, Ocean and Mountain courses – all of which were originally designed by golf course architect Denis Griffiths.
