Laguna Golf Bintan course reopens following 12-month renovation project
The golf course at the Laguna Golf Bintan resort in Indonesia has reopened following an extensive 12-month renovation project.
Originally design by Greg Norman’s firm, the recent project has been led by Mark Lawson of Pro Links Construction.
The project has seen the restoration of green complexes to their original size, and has looked to accentuate the course’s natural surroundings.
Characterised by its proximity to the South China Sea, the course features a number of holes that play along the seashore. The course also plays through areas of jungle, and features several interesting natural rock formations.
The course has now reopened for play following a ceremony attended by Sir Nick Faldo.
