Green renovation project to take place at Golf Club Hannover
Städler Golf Courses is to lead a renovation project on the greens at Golf Club Hannover near Garbsen, Germany.
The firm has been commissioned to plan the reconstruction of all greens on the course, with work set to begin later this year and carry on into 2019.
Greens will be brought up to modern standards, while work on the course’s irrigation system will also take place. Reservoirs to house irrigation water will also be built on the course.
Green approaches and surrounds will be renovated, with a conscious effort to make these areas easier to maintain for the club’s staff.
The course was originally designed by Bernhard von Limburger, and the Städler team will be looking to preserve the architect’s design style throughout the upcoming project.
Golf Club Hannover was founded in 1923, and has been home to an 18-hole course since 1961. The club is aiming to enhance its course as best it can ahead of its centenary year in 2023.
