Staedler & Reinmuth Golfdesign (SRG) is the legal successor of Staedler Golf Courses. The German golf design firm was founded in 1987 by Christoph Städler, a former German amateur champion and a Past President of EIGCA. Today the firm consists of three highly reputed golf course designers: principals Christoph Städler and Achim Reinmuth and designer Philipp Fleischhauer. Städler and Reinmuth are members of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects and are ‘Sustainable Design Leaders’. One of SRG’s key strengths is its strong teamwork which has been instrumental in winning most of the design competitions entered. By 2024, Staedler & Reinmuth Golfdesign had completed 55 new golf courses in Germany, Switzerland, Poland, the Netherlands and in the Czech Republic (most of them 18- or 27-hole courses) and more than 135 redesigns and renovations of existing golf courses. About 20 golf projects in Germany, Poland, Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria and Bulgaria are currently in the planning or construction stages.
