Fall 2018 issue of ASGCA’s By Design magazine now available

The Fall 2018 issue of the American Society of Golf Course Architects’ By Design magazine is now available in digital formats.

The lead story for this new issue centres on the design of resort courses. ASGCA members Chad Goetz, Brandon Johnson, Nathan Crace, Forrest Richardson, Cynthia Dye McGarey and Steve Weisser provide insight into how they might adapt their designs to suit the needs of resort clients.

The Digest section of the Fall 2018 issue of By Design begins with news of a forthcoming ASGCA event that will focus on the benefits of investment in golf facilities, to be held at Pinehurst Resort, North Carolina, in late November. There’s also news of ASGCA-member projects from around the world.

Elsewhere in the issue, there is an introduction to the six new associate members of ASGCA, the third and final part in a series of articles analysing golf facility trends by Jon Last of Sports & Leisure Research Group, and a Q&A with golf course architect Troy Vincent.

Visit the By Design page of the ASGCA website to read online or download a free digital edition of the Fall 2018 issue, and to sign up for a free subscription.
