Vietnamese developer Trung Nam Group has started construction work on a new 400 hectare complex in Da Nang, which is planned to include a golf course.
The Golden Hills project, located alongside the Cu De river in the city’s Lien Chieu district, is comprised of six sections, including apartments, marina, ‘eco-villas’ and the golf course.
The development, which has been masterplanned by US architecture practice Skidmore Owings and Merrill, is budgeted at US$1.7 billion. Singapore-based landscape architecture firm Cicada is also involved in the project, which is expected to be operational by 2014. No architect has been named for the proposed golf course.
