US consultancy Golf Convergence has launched a new study to benchmark the financial performance of American courses.
The survey is backed by a range of golf organisations, including Golf Datatech, the National Golf Federation, the National Golf Course Owners Association and the PGA, all of whom have invested in benchmarking operations. Less than 25 per cent of US courses currently participate in these processes.
Managing principal JJ Keegan said: “The purpose of this survey is to identify the underlying reasons that have precluded wide scale participation in the valuable complimentary services provided by the industry's leading associations and companies.”
All respondents will receive a copy of the finished report. The online survey can be found here.
