A second golf course has been created at the FLC Quy Nhon Golf Links in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Designed by a team from Schmidt-Curley Design, ground was only broken in June of this year, with grassing was completed on 12 October.
The course is set to open for play before the end of the year, and has been created with a focus on ‘natural design’. This includes surface flow drainage, transitional bunker edges and strong, natural fairway movement.
Views of the South China Sea feature on 16 of the 18 holes, and the course has been grassed wall-to-wall with certified TE Plantinum Paspalum.
Constructed by Flagstick, the new track will complement the existing Nicklaus-designed at Quy Nhon. Flagstick was the construction firm behind another Schmidt-Curley project in Vietnam, at Mission Hills in Hainan.
