A new renovation project is now underway at The Timbers at Troy golf course near Elkridge, Maryland.
The work will focus on replacing a number of bunkers throughout the course, as well as updates to the irrigation system.
The project is being led by McDonald and Sons, a golf course architecture firm based in Jessup, Maryland.
The Timbers at Troy course opened in 1996 and was originally designed by Ken Killian.
The current project is expected to take four months to complete, with nine holes remaining open at all times throughout the time the work is taking place.
