A series of renovations have been completed at the Cliffs Valley golf course in South Carolina, US.
Greens have been converted to Champion bermudagrass, while one fairway bunker and one greenside bunker has been introduced to the course. Two fairway bunkers have also been expanded.
The course was originally designed by architect and famed golf commentator Ben Wright, a member of The Cliffs. Wright returned to the club to oversee the recent work, which cost in the region of US$500,000.
“We are thrilled with the results of this renovation and are delighted to bring this course back into play,” said Brian Peeples, director of golf operations at The Cliffs. “Our team is grateful to Ben Wright, who was an integral part in the redesign, developing a new, unique experience for our members.”
