A new nine-hole golf course will open for play this weekend at Przytok Golf & Resort near the city of Zielona Góra in western Poland.
The course has been designed by Hans Georg Erhardt of Golf & Land Design, with David Záleský acting as project manager and shaper.
Developed on a sandy site, the course has been designed with ‘links style’ shaping on the fairways and greens.
The course opens with a long par five hole, before a series of par three and par four holes. Sandy areas permeate many of the fairways, while players will need to negotiate two greenside bunkers on the par three fifth hole.
The final three holes see golfers having to negotiate two small lakes close to the clubhouse. The short seventh hole features a direct tee shot over one of these lakes to get to the green, as does the final hole.
Work on the course commenced back in April 2014, and the final layout will open for play on 15 October.
