Tom Hoch Design has been selected by Tulsa Country Club to renovate its clubhouse while Rees Jones is remodelling the original, AW Tillinghast-designed golf course.
The plan for Tulsa encompasses the clubhouse interior, exterior and site immediately surrounding the building footprint. The clubhouse will be reconfigured into three functional sections connected by a pedestrian gallery and themed transitions. The dining, fitness and banquet section will all be remodelled.
“Tom Hoch Design brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge to the project,” said Jason Fiscus, Tulsa Country Club general manager. “Tom and his staff have the ability to look at the entire picture, balancing historical sensitivities with existing and future needs. The firm has a proven track record of designing clubhouses that stand the test of time and enhance key revenue centres that are integral to the economic viability of the club.”
“We are honoured to help build on the 100-year legacy of this Tulsa landmark and excited to begin the process of developing and implementing a master plan that will more accurately reflect the changing lifestyles of members at Tulsa Country Club,” said Tom Hoch, president of Tom Hoch Design. “The fully-integrated master plan will position Tulsa Country Club for its next century of growth and prosperity.”
