Huxley Golf has appointed a new authorised distributor for the Middle East.

From its Dubai base, Huxley Golf Middle East will bring the company’s all-weather professional greens, tees and practice aids to a region that has some of the most exciting courses and developments in the world.

The extreme heat of the region, particularly between April and October, places great pressure on courses, and maintenance costs can be high. Huxley’s all-weather greens are designed to minimalise water consumption and maintenance requirements.

Huxley Golf Middle East will form part of DG Golf, a provider of leading golf services and products in the Middle East, to countries such as United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Jordan, Israel and Egypt.

DG Group’s managing partner David Gray has been based in Dubai for seven years, and said of the new deal: “DG Golf is all about partnering with the leading golf brands in the world and so we are delighted to be representing Huxley Golf products and installations. Huxley has already installed a flagship putting green and large tee area at The Els Club in Dubai, and is confident of seeing a rise in the number of golf development and resorts enquiring about the services on offer.
