The first phase of a major renovation project at Wyndemere Golf and Country Club has been completed, with the nine-hole Gold Course reopening for play.

Home to 27 holes of golf, the courses at Wyndemere were originally designed by Arthur Hills.

Located in Naples, Florida, Wyndemere consists of the Gold, Green and White courses.

On both the Gold and Green courses, USGA specification greens have been installed, which includes drainage, granite gravel layer and sand and organic greens mix.

The greens have been enlarged to their original size and softened to improve playability. Greens have also been planted with Tif Eagle ultra dwarf, and new tee boxes have been added across the course.

Certified Celebration grass has been planted on all tees and fairways, and anew electric irrigation system has been installed around all greens and approaches.

Work on renovations to the Green Course is ongoing, and work will commence on the White course next summer.
