The Kyle Phillips-designed course at the Al Maaden resort in Morocco, currently under construction, will feature a bunker complex inspired by Oakmont’s famous Church Pews.

The resort, which is composed of four villages, or medinas, which will be pedestrian-only zones, is located just south of Marrakesh. The golf course is expected to open in November.

"It's an international resort with a Moroccan flavour," said Phillips.
