The Chester W Ditto golf course in Arlington, Texas, is undergoing a redesign and renovation project led by golf course architect John Colligan.

The course will be completely rerouted as part of the project. The renovation element will see new bunkers, tees and greens added, while improved turf grasses varieties will be introduced across the course.

Following the redesign, the track will play up to 7,000 yards and feature five sets of tees, in order to accommodate for golfers of a spectrum of abilities.

The course’s driving range and practice facility are also being expanded, as is a water collection and retention pond, which will aid irrigation and water saving.

Colligan will be assisted during the project by his long-time associate Trey Kemp.

Work commenced in December 2016, and is scheduled to take around 10 months to complete.
