Huxley Golf will be increasing its presence in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
To achieve this, it has appointed a new authorised distributor and installer for the region, and Huxley plans to distribute all-weather professional greens, tees and practice equipment in a part of Europe where golf is growing rapidly.
Indeed, there are over 100 clubs and 50,000 registered golfers in the Czech Republic alone. There is also a large indoor market due to the winter conditions, which provides other opportunities for distribution. Huxley Golf Bohemia will look to advance and use the potential of this indoor market by distributing and providing specialist putting greens for both commercial and private usage.
Jiří Votroubek, a Czech Businessman and golfing enthusiast, is Huxley Golf Bohemia’s owner and managing director, and feels the region is ideal for investment and development. “We have an enormous commitment and passion for the game of golf and this exciting new partnership will enable us to continue to raise standards and participation levels across the region,” said Votroubek.
A Huxley putting studio has already been installed at the Albatross Golf Resort in Prague, one of the most revered courses in the region, and such high-profile installations is something Huxley Golf’s director Paul Huxley is keen to continue.
“This is another fantastic partnership that further expands Huxley Golf’s global distribution network,” said Huxley. “Jiří is a perfectionist and a real business leader in Europe, and his integrity and knowledge of the local golf market will ensure that Huxley Golf Bohemia acts as a fantastic ambassador and distributor of our world-class products.”
Huxley Golf’s bid to increase its global presence is aided by its solid footing in the industry. As official suppliers to the PGA, Scottish Golf Union, Golf Union of Wales and Woodhall Spa National Golf Centre, the company is a trusted partner to some of the biggest competitions in the industry.
