A bunker renovation project has been completed at Bent Creek Golf Course in Jacksonville, Florida.

The work has included the removal and replacement of old sand, as well as the reshaping and returfing of selected bunkers.

Drainage work has also been carried out to help ensure the bunkers remain in the best shape possible throughout the year.

Renovations have taken just eight weeks to complete, with the course is now open again for regular play.

The project has been overseen by the course’s management company Billy Casper Golf, who consulted with Mike Beebe of Beebe & Associates to ensure the integrity of the golf course was not altered.

The Bent Creek course was originally designed by Bobby Weed and opened in 1989.
