Shanghai-based golf development company China Golf Group has opened an office in Beijing to support its drive to build a chain of courses across the country.

China Golf has completed more than ten completed course projects in provinces including Liaoning, Shandong, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Hunan and Hubei. “With a large number of golfers in the region and a less saturated golf development market compared to Hainan, Shenzhen and Guangdong, we believe Beijing and its adjacent areas have a high growth potential,” said Tiger Bi, the company’s CEO and founder.

Founded in 2006, China Golf merged with a Delaware-based public company and filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. It operates on an invest-design-build-sell model and is aiming to become the top golf course management company and the largest golf course chain in China.
