Collier’s Reserve hires Hills Forrest Smith for renovation
Collier’s Reserve Country Club in Naples, Florida, has hired golf architecture firm Hills Forrest Smith to oversee a $3.7 million renovation of its golf course.
Construction on the Arthur Hills-designed course will begin in April 2021, with the project including the expansion of greens, drainage improvements and design restoration. It will be the final phase of the club’s master plan.
Members actively participated in the renovation planning and budgeting phases.
As well as the golf course renovation, the club has agreed a $2.8 million renovation of its clubhouse, to be undertaken from March to October 2020.
“This truly is an exciting time for the club,” said general manager Nicholas von Hofen. “Over the last three years, Collier’s Reserve has evolved into the club for those who seek an active, intimate experience thanks to our new amenities. The clubhouse and golf course renovation projects will complete our master plan and bring many years of enjoyment to our membership.”
