Stuart Cohen founded ETS in 1991, maintaining a small, tight-knit team of highly trained professionals who have worked on projects in at least 20 US states and two Canadian provinces. Cohen has also delivered invited lectures in ten countries. ETS serves its clients by resolving complex scientific issues with sound science via Integrated Golf Course Management Plans (IGCMPs), water quality risk assessments, and water quality monitoring. The company was among the first in the world to offer these integrated environmental and agronomic services. Corporate experience includes over 150 golf/turf-related projects. ETS has worked on projects with governmental agencies as well as developers and has the experience necessary to provide solid expert witness testimony. ETS has partnered with Andy Staples, president of Staples Golf Design, to create a joint programme to evaluate the carbon footprints of golf courses called CARBONSAVE. A detailed CARBONSAVE assessment can be used to advise a golf course superintendent on how to reduce the carbon footprint while reducing energy costs.
