PROMOTED The Aquatrols Company Booth: 4025 Aqueduct Flex is a quick and convenient way to improve the establishment and reduce the expense of labour-intensive hand watering of sprigs. This granular surfactant is specifically formulated to promote water movement and retention in the soil, distributing moisture evenly through the profile for more complete root access. Aqueduct Flex maximises water penetration and uniform wetting of the soil, and improves rooting and fill in. This can reduce the chance of losing valuable sprigs and the need to resprig or delay golf course play due to poor cover. Aqueduct Flex is impregnated on a water-dispersible inert carrier, offering ease of both transport and application. It can be safely applied during the initial sprigging process, before the irrigation system is activated, and greatly improves establishment and turf density of newly sprigged operations. Acumen ClearWater Booth: 4151 (a vendor on the Ewing Outdoor Supply booth) Acumen ClearWater installs and maintains washpad water recycling systems. Its ClearWater Recycling System provides an effective, below ground, biological washpad water recycling process that is used by greenkeeping and maintenance teams. The system has been installed recently at Pinehurst Resort on the No. 10 course and New York’s Schuyler Meadows Club, both customers of Ewing Outdoor Supply (the US distributor for ClearWater). A new two-hose 1,320-gallon ClearWater tank was installed along with the building of new workshops and sheds. The water recycling system uses harmless microorganisms to clean contaminated water from washdown areas and, as such, requires minimal maintenance with exceptionally low running costs. ClearWater and Ewing have installed similar and larger bespoke systems across the US.
