Nine more holes have opened for play at the Eastern Golf Club in Yering, Australia.

Designed by a team from Greg Norman Golf Course Design, the new holes bring the total available to members and guests up to 27.

An 18-hole course has been open since October 2015, following the club’s relocation from its former site in the Melbourne suburb of Doncaster.

“The opening of the final nine holes is a great achievement for the entire team and sees the next phase of our development completed,” said Benjamin Telley, general manager at Eastern Golf Club. “The increased capacity will enable us to significantly reduce our current membership waiting lists, with only seven day memberships experiencing a one to two year wait.”

A further nine hole, par three course is expected to open at the Eastern Golf Club by March 2017.
