The famous par three seventh, the ‘boxcar’ hole (as a railway boxcar is rumoured to be buried below the green surface at Lawsonia Links in Wisconsin) wasn’t too hard for our eagle eyed gopher watchers to spot, as we had suspected.
Out of a large list of correct entries, the first one drawn was Bill Vostinak of South Carolina, well known in golf blogging circles as the Redanman. Bill is notoriously tall, so we worry slightly that none of our shirts will fit him, but he can doubtless find a good home for his prize even if he can’t wear it himself!
This month, Sandy is back on the links, and on a truly iconic golf course. No clues this time, we are just going to run for cover and watch the e-mails flood in!
