The Hawtree name has been associated with golf and golf course development since 1912 with the dynasty F.G., F.W., and M.G. being probably the longest continuous practice in golf course architecture. Experience and knowledge, which derives from two father-and-son exchanges, is at the centre of this multi-disciplinary, golf architectural practice, known throughout the world.

Hawtree have been involved in over 800 projects and its architectural influence has spread across Europe, with incursions into Africa, the Americas, Australia, the Far East and the Indian sub-continent.
