IMG supports range of golf courses

IMG’s golf course services division has signed up a number of new clients around the world.

At Ibom Golf Resort in Nigeria, IMG is deploying its expertise in agronomy and operations management, as well as advising on the resort’s events strategy. At the newly-built Robert Trent Jones II golf course at the La Bagnaia Resort in Tuscany, Italy, IMG is providing planning and technical support and resort marketing before the opening, planned for spring 2011.

The Princes Club in Agadir, Morocco aims to set a new benchmark for sports and leisure within the region and IMG Golf Course Services, as part of a comprehensive project team, has been delivering the vision for the sporting facilities at the master planning stage.

“We are delighted to be involved with these prestige projects in Nigeria, Italy and Morocco and look forward to the challenge of positioning these resorts at the forefront of their respective markets” said Michael Pask, IMG’s senior vice president, of sports leisure and tourism. “Our dedicated team of IMG executives continue to deliver first class services in the field of sports, leisure and tourism – something that we are very proud of.”
